Fees:
for one event: 30 euro per person
for two events: 45 euro per person
Sayonara party : 25 euro
Special Fees for two events + Sayonara Party: 65 euro per person
Sleeping at Athens kendojo : Free
The Athens Taikai follows FIK rules and all participants must be 18 years old or above. The events consist of pools and knockout elimination rounds. In each division (team, men's and ladies) the top two qualify from the pool and enter the knock out tournament.

If you don't have a team or your team is one or two people sort then don't worry. Let us know and we will do everything possible to sort it out for you! If your looking for a team just click on available to join a team and we will do our best to find you one.

Sleep in Athens Kendo dojo

Please let us know by clicking the button on our application form and email us the time you'll be heading there so we can meet you. You must bring your sleeping bag! Please note that you will need to make your own way to the stadium unless you'd like to use the bus from Xenophon hotel. In which case you will need to arrange your own transportation from the Dojo to the hotel.

The Athens Taikai is a nonprofit event based on the voluntary effort of its members.
All fees will be used to cover tournament costs.
